Jet-lag in the girls still not gone. Anna and Sarah were up at 5am and Jessica slept till about 11. Clonakilty sausages, fried local fresh eggs and cups of Barry’s tea for breakfast.
Talked to one of our agents first thing today and we got addresses for three houses to check out. Good day as it looks like all three would work for us. One is in Sandycove (few minutes from the Dock Pub), one in Summercove (down the road from the Bulman Pub) and the other close to the town but only a few minutes walk from the girls school. While there Gwen popped into the girls' school and chatted a bit with the principle.
Dinner was roasted stuffed chicken, mashed spuds with Kerrygold butter and steamed local carrots. We all devoured it!
Interesting observation today: on the way back into town it lashed rain Texas style for about an hour. We do not think we ever saw rain so heavy in Ireland before!
