Jetlag just about gone for all of us so starting to feel like normal again. This morning we met with two agents and housing situation looks awful. There are buggar all houses out there to rent and they go as quick as they are advertised. We looked at am amazing house today in Sandycove which was spectacular that was put on the market this weekend but was gone before our agent had a chance to put an offer in for us. It was at an incredible quiet location overlooking the ocean and only about 5km from the town.
Two interesting observations from today. 1. Gwen’s first reaction to glorious, sunny weather now is “good drying out today” and 2. We had our first pint of stout (Murphy’s) since landing this afternoon at the Speckled Door. We sat out the back of the pub sunning ourselves looking out to the sea. Absolutely amazing day.
