Clodagh and Simon departed on Friday afternoon so we have been visitorless since then. Yesterday was a nice lazy day with lots of cleaning up around the house, a long walk on the Scilly walk and a Dinner "al fresco" in the sunshine on the banks of the Bandon river. There was lots of activity around the house when we arrived home as the neightbour's 18 year old daughter was having a going away party with about 50 of her friends (our next door neighhours are from Indiana and have been here for three years.). There was also a big hurling game in the GAA grounds directly behind our house with quite a lot of supporters watching it. Atmosphere was lovely.
We finished off the night watching the last two episodes of "Treme" that we missed in USA during all the packing and moving which I downloaded over the internet yesterday. Really good HBO show if you have not seen it.
