place. Everyone and I mean everyone we have met and dealt with in the
town are just so nice and friendly. It is also pretty rare to meet
anyone from Cork as the town is just full of blow-ins from all over
Ireland and the world.
We started off the day with a trip to the playground with the girls.
After a couple of hours of the girls playing with the local kids and
Gwen and I chatting to local parents we walked down into the town
center to join in all festivities and stuff our faces from all the
local food being cooked up and sold on the street. An Australian made
us what were probaby the best lattes we have ever had. Unbelievable
coffee.
Anna and Sarah had their faces painted, watched some street theatre,
listened and danced to live traditional music and bands playing on
outdoor stages. The buzz in the town was terriffic. In the middle
of this we even had time to sneak a pint in at a pub and watch 2nd
half of the Germany/Argentina match.
I have lots of pictures but as previously posted my laptop is dead so
cannot upload but it was a great day and we are feeling very good
about our new little town.
