Lunch at Robert's Cove

We drove to Minane Bridge and Robert's Cove today for lunch at The Robert's Cove Inn.   Broccoli Potato soup and toasted special that was really quite good.  It helped that we sat next to a roaring fire looking out onto to sea.  Quite blustery and cold today so cozy pubs are the perfect place to be.

Terrible tragedy at our local airport today

I have experienced two aborted landings at Cork airport many years ago with a successful landing on third attempt.  I will never forget it.


These unfortunate folks were not as lucky this morning.  May they rest in peace.
