Girls are off school for the summer and I promised them I would get them new bikes. So on Friday I picked up two really nice Falcons and within 20 minutes of getting them home they were cycling just fine. I always thought that teaching your kid how to cycle was some big long event that we would be working on throughout the summer but I guess not as they required virtually no help. So far they are great investments as they have been on them all the time.
We have have a few more batches of visitors over the last few week including my sister, brother-in-law and their two girls over from Manchester as well as Kiara, Neil and Shane down last weekend. Gwen's mum and sisters were also down the previous weekend so there has been no let up in visitors, big feasts and good wine.
