Eating West Cork

My wife who could be considered a "blow-back", my three girls and I who will definitely be "blow-ins" are packing up, selling everything and moving to West Cork. We have absolutely no idea where we are going, what we will be doing other than we are exchanging our very privileged and lavish lifestyles for a simpler for wholesome living in what we believe is the most beautiful part of the world.

Alannah Hopkin's superb book "Eating Scenery" is the inspiration for the big move which was read by my wife and I while we all spent two glorious weeks outside Clonakilty last summer.

I am new to this blogging and this is my very first blog post but I am sure I will get better at it as time goes by. I am also hoping my beautiful wife will be a regular guest blogger on this site too!
